Disclaimer & Terms of Use

Immuta is a document timestamping tool. It records a cryptographic fingerprint of your file on the PulseChain blockchain. It is not a legal service, a notary, or a substitute for legal advice. Please read this page before using the service.

What Immuta does

Immuta computes a SHA-256 hash of your file or text locally in your browser — the original file never leaves your device. It then registers that hash, along with a timestamp, your wallet address, a label, and an optional note, permanently on the PulseChain blockchain.

This creates a permanent, publicly verifiable record that a specific piece of content existed at a specific point in time, submitted by a specific wallet address.

What Immuta does not do

No legal guarantee

A blockchain timestamp is a strong cryptographic proof that content existed at a point in time. However, the legal weight and admissibility of blockchain evidence varies significantly between jurisdictions and legal systems. Immuta makes no representation that a seal will be accepted as legal proof in any specific legal proceeding.

If you require legally binding document authentication, you should consult a qualified legal professional in your jurisdiction.

Fees are non-refundable

All sealing fees ($1 per seal, paid in eUSDC, eUSDT, or eDAI on PulseChain) are non-refundable. Once a transaction is submitted to the blockchain it cannot be reversed, recalled, or refunded under any circumstances. This is a fundamental property of blockchain technology and is not within our control.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

No warranty

Immuta is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times, that it will be error-free, or that records stored on the PulseChain blockchain will remain accessible indefinitely. Blockchain networks are operated by decentralised validators and their continued operation is not within our control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Immuta and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of funds, or failure of a seal to be accepted as legal evidence.
